BLYTHE, David K., 87, husband of Jeanie Blythe, Associate Dean ofEngineering at University of Kentucky, died Fri., Jan. 21, 2005 at home.Born in Georgetown, KY, he was a son of the late Ivie and Mellie Blythe.He was member of Walnut Hill Church, the Lexington Rotary Club, TheLexington Club, American Society of Civil Engineers, University FacultyClub, Lexington Fayette County Planning Commission and served asPresident of the Citizens Association for Planning. He was inducted inthe College of Engineering Hall of Distinction in 1993. He served withthe Army-Air Corps during W.W.II. Other survivors include threedaughters, Susan Jonas (Tom), Harrodsburg, Blythe Jamieson, Lexingtonand Sheila Blythe, Sarasota, FL; five grandchildren, Peter and AlexJonas, Stuart, Jackson and Carson Morris; one great-grandson, AidenMorris, a sister, Charlotte Dunn, AL. Services at Walnut Hill Churchconducted by Rev. Mike Ward.'
