  	My grandfather Victor James Featherstone served as a boy seaman sometime between 1900 - 1910 on the Cutty Sark unfortunately he passed away before this magnificent vessel returned to Greenwich which I am sure he would have been delighted to see. I will try and get the address from one of my cousins who possibly has more information about that. His Father and Mothers names were Henry Featherstone and he married Julia Short who's family also came from the Canterbury area. They had 6 children Henry, Victor, Fredrick, Katie, Dorothy and Gertrude (not sure what order they were born) Previous to Canterbury the Featherstone family apparently came from a place called Russwort or Russworp near Whitby in Yorkshire. (I have been told this is wrong). Victor James Featherstone married Lily Mason-Glover who were my grandparents. Bob and Jinny Durrant
