      'Born Sept. 24, 1912, in Webb City, Mo., Ms. Featherston spent aquarter of a century with Manhattan Construction Co. headquarters inMuskogee before her retirement in 1977. She moved to Muskogee in 1919and was graduated from Muskogee (Central) High School in 1930. Sheattended Muskogee Junior College and Draughon's Business College andembarked on a career as a secretary which spanned five decades. She wassecretary at Equitable Life Insurance Co. and First United MethodistChurch before her employment at Manhattan. She was an active member ofFirst United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women, Businessand Professional Women and Knife and Fork Club. She also served on theFirst United Methodist Administrative Board and taught the ProgressiveSunday School class. Survivors included two brothers, Robert A.Featherston of Muskogee and Rev. R.
