    • Henry Featherston and Nancy Marshall were first cousins. HenryFeatherston was one of seven American soldiers killed during the battleof New Orleans. His discharge was dated four days after his death,showing he was a Sergeant in the 2nd Division, Tennessee Militia. Hiswill was written 6 Nov 1814 and proved 4 August 1815 Lincoln County,Tennessee He names his two sons and his wife, and mentions unnameddaughters. His brother Edward Featherston and his wife were executors,and were directed to keep his estate together to raise the children andeducate them.
