	Obituary--Daily American Republic, Poplar Bluff, Missouri 'The funeral for Eolen Elrod, 72, a retired city power plant electric board operator and resident of 317 Cleveland Ave., Poplar Bluff, was held at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Eugene Ramsey officiated. Mr. Elrod died in Doctors Hospital. He was born January 1, 1904, in Ponder. On January 12, 1929, he married Edna Featherston in Pocahontas, Arkansas. Mr. Elrod had resided in Butler County for the past 40 years. He is survived by his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Barbara Holm of Pocahontas; one son, Eolen Elrod, Jr. of Los Banos, California; one brother, Acel Elrod of Bristo, Oklahoma; two sisters, Miss Roxie Elrod of Doniphan and Miss Marie Elrod of Doniphan; and two grandchildren.'
