'Bessie Clary, 100, of Gatesville, passed away on January 28, 2004, at a local hospital. Funeral services were held January 29, 2004, at Scott's Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Gatesville City Cemetery. Mrs. Clary was born May 21, 1903, and was the daughter of James David Featherston and Sara Worsham. She was a seamstress and worked locally most of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bertrede Dewey Clary in 1953; and a son, Dewey Darrell Clary in 1933. The family would like to express a special thank you to the Home Bound ministry of Trinity Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Dorothy Barrington and husband Gerrell, Billy Clary and Bobbie Ferrell; eight grandchildren, Gerry Foley and husband Bob,Danny Lynn Barrington, Billy Glenn Barrington and wife Donna, Patricia Janes, Jack Clary, Dena Campos and husband Al, Karen Dick and husband Andy, and Lisa Powell; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.'
