Anecdote:
Born in Virginia, he walked through the Cumberland Gap as a young boy. It was he who brought all the family members, buried on the Featherston farm, to be reburied in the Lexington Cemetery. His obit is on the front page of the paper. He died of pneumonia, so I was told, from bringing in the sheep in the rain at almost 96. A thoroughly admirable person.
