This may be the same William Fetherston who created a house for the Cheif Steward at Trinity College, Dublin in 1860. There was also an Edward Fetherston admitted at the Royal Dublin Society's School of Drawing in Architecture on 26 Nov 1835 (could this be his cousin Edward b.1821 Mayne, Westmeath, son of John & Mary?)
