'Nora Smith Featherston of Andrews, TX formerly of Goldthwaite, diedNovember 15, 1998 at Andrews, Texas. She was 85 years of age. NoraFeatherston was born December 4, 1912 at Bertram, TX, the daughter ofCharlie and Lizzie (Lose) Smith. She married C.L. 'Sollie' Featherstonon December 30, 1931 at Lometa, TX. She moved to Goldthwaite from FortWorth in 1940. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She was ahousewife and a nurses' aide. She was preceded in death by her husbandand one daughter, Dorothy Helen Featherston. Survivors are one daughter,Wanda Stinnett in Round Rock, one son, Charlie Featherston of Andrews;five grandchildren, Kim Ghez of San Antonio, Ashley Meads of Abilene,Rick Stinnett of Georgetown, and Jadra Stinnett and Lisa Chuey both ofRound Rock; 13 great grandchildren; and one brother, Edward Smith ofLampasas. The funeral was conducted Nov. 16, 1998 at 3:00p.m. at theAssembly of God Church in Goldthwaite with Bro. Jack Vaughn officiating.Interment was in the Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery, Goldthwaite, MillsCounty, TX. Pallbearers were Justin Chuey, Ricky Stinnett, David Meads,Jesse Mayfield, Winford Smith, Bobby Henderson, and Chuck Simpson.'
