      hi I am inquiring about the William Brisley you have married to Jane Featherstone my ancestors are the Brisleys from Burham and I have Jane married to a William born in 1808 whose father I believe is Thomas Brisley from Burham. Thomas's wife was Mary Mills who died aged 40yrs he had 7 children 1 of which was my ancestor James born in 1801 James married a Mary Hooley he died in 1853 where on Mary his wife went to Burham and married as I believe the widower of Jane who was William born 1808 as far as my records go William never emigrated but died in Burham in some cottages which I believe he owned and was named Brisley Row have you any history on your William who married Jane? Hope this all makes sense to you one of us must have the wrong William married to Jane I have Jane's death cert. for 1864 died aged 68 yrs listed as wife of William farm labourer.
