      John Feverstone 1707 Kent
      In the name of God Amen the twenty ninth day of March 1707 in the sixth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lady Anne by the grace of God Queen of England Scotland France and Ireland Defender of the Faith
      I John Feverstone of the parish of Ulcomb in the county of Kent miller being weak in body but of sound and perfect memory [praised be given to God for the same] and knowing the uncertainty of this life on earth and being desirous to settle things in order do make this my last will and testament in manner and form following [that is to say] first and principally I recommend my soul to Almighty God my creator assuredly believing that I shall receive full pardon and free remission of all my sins and be saved by the prrions[?] death and merits of my blessed saviour and redeemer Christ Jesus and my body to the earth from whence it was taken to be buried in the parish church yard of Harrietsham at the discretion of my executrix hereafter mentioned and as touching such worldly estate as the Lord in mercy hath lent me My will and meaning is the same shall be enjoyed[?] and left [?] --- as hereafter by this my will expressed and first I do revoke who un-e frustrate [?] and make void all wills by me formerly made and declare and appoint this my last will and testament Item I give and bequeath unto my younger son John Feverstone after my wife decease all that my house and land with the mill and barns lying and being in Choke in the parish of Ulcombe So the said John Feverstone paying unto my son William Feverstone his brother the sum of eighty pounds of good and lawful money of England at the end of six years next after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto Mary Ollever my grandchild the sum of five pounds of good and lawful money of England to be paid by my son John Feverstone at the end of two years next after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto my son in law Thomas Ollover of Egerton blacksmith the sum of five shillings to be paid by my son John Feverstone within twelve months next after my decease if demanded and all my will and meaning is that my wife Mary Feverstone whom I appoint and make sole executrix of this my last will and testament is to have all my house and land with the mill during her natural life and after her decease I give unto my son John Feverstone and his heirs forever all the rest of my goods and chattels I give unto my loving wife whatsoever and wheresoever She paying all my debts and funeral expenses Dated the day and year first above written John Feverstone Signed sealed published and declared this to be the last will and testament of me John Feverstone of Ulcomb in witness whereof I have set my hand and seal in the presence[?] of the lawfully stamp[?] being first thereon[?] Elizabeth Stronghill George Stronghill James Dennis
